Southbound Carlsbad Boulevard (Highway 101) between Palomar Airport Road and Island Way is currently closed to all traffic - cars, bicycles, and those on foot. For safety reasons, the City of Carlsbad is replacing the deteriorated 1920's era bridge over Encinas Creek. for more information: www.carlsbadca.gov
