Construction NC 17 North of Washington

North of Washington, NC, some messed up construction. From the McDonald's light (!) to just north of Lowe's. They're putting in a bypass to go around Chocowinity and Washington which is going to merge with 17 just south of Chocowinity and just north of Washington, and while the construction's under way it makes for some tricky driving. It's mostly done, they just need to put up the bridge over the Tar River, connect everything, repaint the lines, and clean up - supposed to be done by 2010 I believe.
