PAX 2011 (PAX Prime) Seattle - RAZER Shows off Tiamat 7.1 Headset and RAZER Blade Gaming Notebook
FULL REPORT - www.futurelooks.com www.futurelooks.com - Futurelooks took off to Seattle to check out west coast edition PAX. Here we had an opportunity to give everyone a first look at the brand new RAZER Blade gaming notebook which will be running a Sandy Bridge Core i7 processor and nVidia graphics. But that's not what makes it special. The unit uses what looks like a unibody aluminum construction not unlike the design used by a certain fruit company. Even though the machine is 17 inches, RAZER has somehow made it no bigger than most 15 inch gaming notebooks, and it sits at under an inch thick and weighs around 7 lbs. It also features RAZER's unique Switchblade touchpad for ultimate gaming versatility. All of this will cost you however as early estimates put the system at around $2800. But the "Head RAZER" dismisses this saying that it's not confirmed at all so that's hopefully a sign that it'll be more affordable. Also being shown off is the solid looking Tiamat 7.1 Gaming Headset which uses a true 7.1 design and a unique driver placement design in the ear cups. You can even expose the ear cups to show your friends that you really have all those speakers with detachable caps. These will retail for $179 when they hit the shelves.
