Causeway - World's Longest Bridge

Causeway Bridge in New Orleans is a 24-mile (38.61 kms) stretch of two 2-lane spans running parallel across Lake Pontchartrain connecting Jefferson Parish (Metairie) on the South Shore and St. Tammany Parish (Mandeville)on the North Shore. On the other hand, The Great Wall of China, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was enlisted at approximately 6700 kilometers (4163 miles ) from east to west of China... The Shanghai-Ningbou Bridge in East China which opened in 2007 runs approximately 36 kilometers (2 kms shorter than Causeway) and is considered the longest cross sea bridge in the world... The Atchafalaya Swamp Freeway Bridge, from Lafayette to Baton Rouge, is an 18.2 mile (nearly 30 km) bridge across the Atchafalaya River in the State of Louisiana.
